Job Description

We are looking for an experienced a Senior Accountant for AQE, open to all nationalities, prefer to get self-sponsored candidates.
UAE Accounting experience with Master/Bachelor Degree in Accounting.

Key Responsibilities

• Full Accounting Responsibilities – Balance Sheet and P&L
• Assets, Work in Progress, Inventory full management
• Supervise General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable
• Accountable for bank reconciliations and petty cash reconciliation
• Prepare monthly financial reports (P&L, Balance Sheet, Budget comparison, Cash Flow etc.)
• Conduct month-end and year-end closing
• Operate and manage accounting functions using QuickBooks ERP
• Maintain accurate data entry and financial records in ERP systems
• Generate financial reports from ERP software
• Customize reports for management requirements
• Ensure proper system controls and backups
• Prepare costing analysis, by project and month wise
• Prepare Budget, Forecast and variation analysis
• Apply profit margins and pricing strategies
• Coordinate with procurement and project teams for accurate costing
• VAT, CT, e-invoicing & Regulatory Compliance (UAE)
• Prepare and file UAE VAT & CT returns
• Maintain VAT & CT -compliant records
• Ensure adherence to UAE tax and financial regulations
• Prepare Cash Flow
• Payroll Review and validation
• Prepare management/Project reports

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Accounting experience with Master/Bachelor Degree in Accounting.
• Strong hands-on experience in QuickBooks ERP
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT & CT
• Ability to work independently as sole accountant
• High attention to detail
• Strong organizational and multitasking ability
